Make a price monitor useful
A useful monitor has a clear scope, a price you are prepared to pay and enough context to understand what changed.
Choose a product or a category
Use an exact product monitor when the model and variant matter. Use a category or keyword monitor when you are exploring several suitable items. Add exclusions for accessories or unrelated models, select the condition and narrow the marketplaces to those you can actually buy from.
Choose the currency shown by the source. A target in RON cannot be compared directly with a price in EUR, and a used item should not be treated as equivalent to a new one.
Set a delivered-price target
Base your target on the asking price plus confirmed shipping. An offer with unknown shipping cannot tell you whether it is under your total budget. Flip Finder withholds target and price-drop alerts for records whose delivery costs are unconfirmed or that are unavailable.
Your target is €100 delivered. A recorded offer at €94 with €9 shipping totals €103, so it has not reached your target. At €90 with the same shipping, the €99 total qualifies.
Understand what the history shows
The chart and dated table show observations recorded in your workspace. A line between two observations does not mean the price was checked continuously. The workbench has no comprehensive historical catalog. You can inspect the recorded time and delivery assumptions alongside each observation.
Automatic marketplace feeds are not connected in the current release. Add and update your records manually. The Connections page shows actual source status; a marketplace name in the directory does not mean automated tracking is active.
Read your alerts and manage your allowance
Alerts appear in the private in-app inbox on Monitors & alerts. Email and push delivery are not offered in this release. Mark an alert read after reviewing the current offer.
Free accounts can create 10 new product or category monitors each UTC calendar month. Existing monitors and ongoing checks are included. Deleting a monitor does not return that month’s slot. Planned Pro access removes the monthly monitor cap, but paid subscriptions remain closed.
